Highlights from the 2025 “Winning Truck Wreck Cases” Seminar

Tables were full of attendees eager to learn about truck accident law at the second annual “Winning Truck Wreck Cases” Seminar on August 4, 2025. Attorneys and paralegals came from all over Indiana and out of state to expand their knowledge in trucking litigation and network with colleagues.

The seminar was chaired by attorneys David W. Craig and Scott A. Faultless of Craig, Kelley & Faultless personal injury law firm in Indianapolis and hosted by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Both attorneys are board-certified in truck accident law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and accredited by the American Bar Association.

The day-long seminar was held at the Embassy Suites Noblesville Indianapolis conference center, and featured speakers from several states that specialized in truck accident law, truck safety, and the trucking industry. The following speakers were present:

  • David W. Craig, Craig, Kelley & Faultless
  • Scott A. Faultless, Craig, Kelley & Faultless
  • Kent Emison, Langdon & Emison
  • Adam Grill, The Legacy Corporation International
  • John Romano, Romano Law Group
  • Christy Crowe Childers, Childers & McCain LLC
  • Harry Adler, Institute for Safer Trucking

Presentations covered a variety of topics surrounding trucking cases, such as determining the value of truck wreck cases, finding additional recoveries for clients, telematics discovery, storytelling and opening statements for truck wreck cases, vicarious liability, different damages models to use, truck safety concerns, broker liability, and ethics. Guests were given the opportunity to explore actual semi-truck rigs, learn from board-certified truck accident attorneys, and converse with colleagues.

“It was exciting to see everyone at our second annual truck accident seminar,” Managing Partner of Craig, Kelley & Faultless and nationally recognized truck accident attorney, David W. Craig, said. “Once again, we had a great turnout and a lot of positive feedback. Thanks to the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and everyone else who helped make this year a success. We look forward to an even bigger and better seminar next year. I hope to see you there.”

The venue has been booked for next year’s seminar, which will be held on August 10, 2026, and hosted again by Craig, Kelley & Faultless in tandem with the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
