Each of the 10 attorneys from Craig, Kelley & Faultless have been selected as 2027 Indiana Super Lawyers or Rising Stars honorees. David W. Craig, William J. Kelley II, Scott A. Faultless, Christopher Barry, Whitney Coker, Samantha Stevens, Jacob Kotter, and Krysten M. LeFavour have all been named in this year’s Indiana Super Lawyers list. David has been listed among the Top 50: 2027 Indiana Super Lawyers list again this year. Alexander Craig and Sidney Lewellen were chosen for the Rising Stars List.
Super Lawyers recognizes the achievements of the top attorneys in the United States from all firm sizes and practice areas. Those selected for the Super Lawyers list are chosen using a patented process of peer nominations and evaluations in combination with independent research. Attorneys are selected on an annual, state-by-state basis. Each candidate is evaluated using 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Only 5% of attorneys in Indiana are named Super Lawyers honorees each year. The selection of the attorneys on the Rising Stars list is done using the same process, but lawyers are only eligible if they are at most 40 years of age and have been practicing for 10 years or less. Rising Stars honorees make up 2.5% of attorneys in Indiana.
Attorneys chosen for the Top 50 Indiana Super Lawyers list, like David, make up only 5% of the Super Lawyers honorees. Super Lawyers candidates with the highest “point” totals from the selection process are picked to serve on the Blue Ribbon Panel and evaluate the other candidates in their primary practice area. The Blue-Ribbon committee reviews every candidate and chooses lawyers with the highest levels of reputation, visibility, and results for the Top 50. A select few of the Top 50 are plaintiff lawyers, including David.
Six of the previously mentioned attorneys were also recognized in the 2027 Edition of Best Lawyers®. David and Scott are Board Certified in Truck Accident Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, accredited by the American Bar Association, and have been selected to the Super Lawyers list for several years. They have also been named among the Top 10 Trucking Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers (Indiana). Additionally, both attorneys co-host the annual “Winning Truck Wreck Cases” seminar, which is presented by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
